It is highly recommended that Diabetics gets a yearly dilated eye exam.

Diabetes also can cause leaking of blood vessels in the eyes, which leads to scarring and loss of vision.

Your eye doctor is an important part of a medical team managing your diabetes.

Retinal damage, particularly leaky blood vessels in the retina, can be treated to avoid major vision loss.

Diabetics often have fluctuations in their vision due to their sugar level. Uncontrolled diabetes can cause a change in eyeglass prescription.

Diabetes patients are more susceptible to dry eyes, cataracts, glaucoma, and other vision problems.
